Hi, I’m doing this Gofundme for my cat, Felix.

We got him over two years ago at an animal shelter. They said he came all the way from the California wild fires that happened in 2019 and was probably a stray for most of his life.

The vet originally said his case of gingivitis was very mild and not much to worry about. Same thing the next year. But suddenly, when we took him to the vet a few months ago, it was really bad. He has rotten + sensitive teeth, inflamed gums, etc. They wouldn’t book him until this year, and I’ve been trying my best to get the money.

His 10th birthday is soon, and he really needs dental surgery. The longer we wait, the worse and more expensive it gets. He needs the teeth pulled and an extensive gum+ tooth cleaning, which requires him to be put under anesthesia.

The vet estimate says it’s anywhere from around $950-$1500, and she said it might even cost more.

His biggest birthday wish is to get his teeth nice and clean, so if you could donate anything, even just a few cents, it would mean the world to both him and I. If I have any excess money, I will use it for Felix aftercare ( after surgery needs and save for his expenses for when I go to college with him!) and donate some to a local animal shelter(or another animal in need)!
