This campaign is for my brother/cousin Felipe Rodriguez.

Felipe might not be related to me and my family by blood, but sometimes those who are not blood are more than family. I've known Felipe since he came to live with my parents when I was only 12 yrs old. I grew up looking up to Felipe as an older brother! He's always been there for us. He eventually married and started his own family.

Unfortunately, about 2 years ago, Felipe was diagnosed with cancer. Felipe's cancer is lymphoma; it has spread throughout his body via the lymphatic system. He's been fighting this disease with the utmost courage, but unfortunately, this disease is beating him. There is nothing else the doctors can do. All we have is faith. Throughout his battle, his wife Marie and 2 children, Diego & Mayte, have been by his side. It has taken a financial toll on Marie, and she cannot go out to work because she cares for Felipe.

We ask if you can help with anything to help Marie with the financial stress.

Esta campaña es para mi hermano/primo Felipe Rodríguez. Felipe no es de mi familia por sangre, pero a veces quienes no comparten lazos de sangre son más que familia. Conozco a Felipe desde que vino a vivir con mis padres cuando yo tenía solo 12 años. ¡Crecí admirándolo como a un hermano mayor! Siempre ha estado ahí para nosotros. Con el tiempo se casó y formó su propia familia.

Desafortunadamente, hace unos dos años a Felipe le diagnosticaron con cancer. El cáncer de Felipe es un linfoma, su cáncer está por todo su cuerpo a través de la red linfática. Ha estado luchando contra esta enfermedad con gran valentía, pero lamentablemente la enfermedad lo está venciendo. Los médicos no pueden hacer nada más. Solo nos queda la fe. Durante toda su batalla, su esposa Marie y sus dos hijos, Diego y Mayte han estado a su lado. La situación ha afectado mucho económicamente a Marie y no puede trabajar porque cuida de Felipe.
