Help Felicity recover From Her V-Injury

Donation protected
On the 24th August 2021 my girlfriend, Felicity, had her 2nd \/ and her life was turned upside down. For the last 5 months Felicity has been fighting debilitating neurological conditions, with her neurologists initial clinical impression being a disabling condition called FND.

I have witnessed first-hand the damage this has done to her.
I’ve seen her suffer from complete paralysis and at times she has been completely incapable of speech. I have witnessed violent seizures, and full-body tremors that are so bad, she is unable to walk. I have seen her blood pressure so low that she cannot stand up, and she has been so confused that she would struggle to tell you her own name.

After taking her 1st \/ she had a rash, swollen lymph nodes, extreme fatigue, and later had a seizure type fit. The following day, she was also extremely sensitive to light. We called 111 for medical advice, and they reassured us that this was no cause for concern. Felicity also contacted her GP to request exemption from the second \/, but her exemption was denied.

Within hours of her 2nd \/, she had visual disturbances, dizziness, headaches, and later experienced full-body paralysis, followed by repeated seizures. The seizures continued into the following day, and by the 8th, we contacted 111 who advised us to ring an ambulance. In this time she had a further 3 seizures, and continued to fit whilst the paramedics arrived. One paramedic stood over her as she fitted and claimed that this was a good sign as it meant the \/ was working. After about 30 minutes she was taken to hospital in an ambulance. She left hospital around 7am the following day and her symptoms worsened. She developed heart palpitations, chest pains, dizziness, confusion, brain fog, high temperatures, and shortness of breath. The seizures continued and she was back in hospital a few days later for further observations and tests.

Fast forward to now, and Felicity has been in 5 hospitals and had multiple tests, including CT, EEG, MRI(x2), Chest Xray (x2), Echo Cardiogram, Ultrasound, D-Dimer, and Blood tests. She has had ambulances sent out for severe seizures, a suspected heart attack, and a suspected aneurysm.

Day to day, she suffers from migraines, extreme sensitivity to sound and light - to the extent she has to wear tinted glasses at all times as she is now photophobic and has developed nystagmus, both of which cause her to spasm. She suffers from swollen joints, nerve pain, excruciating headaches, and pressure in her head. She cannot walk to another room without becoming out of breath. She is constantly fatigued but also suffers from insomnia. She becomes extremely weak and sometimes even struggles to lift herself to drink a glass of water. She has been referred to the eye and ear hospital, as well as the Nightingale Centre. She was referred to the Long Covid unit but they rejected her application.

She requires either myself or her parents to be there to care for her around the clock and between her family and I, we have spent every hour of the last few months looking after Felicity.

The situation has taken a huge toll on myself and Felicity’s family. Between us, we have had to rearrange work schedules to care for her, as well as accommodate her move home for full-time care.

Felicity has spent an enormous amount of her own money on private doctor's appointments, tests, and treatments, but we are still struggling to find answers and solutions, especially in traditional medicine. The majority of help and advice has come from the other individuals, who are experiencing the same. We have invested a lot of time and money into alternative treatments with which we have found some relief, these include homeopathic medicine, ozone treatment, oxygen therapy, IV therapies, infrared saunas, lymphatic drainage, supplements, detox teas, and changing to an anti-inflammatory diet.

Although we discussed it, we hoped never to be in a situation where we needed to ask for financial help, but we now find ourselves there.
Felicity is in contact with hundreds of individuals who are also searching for solutions, and people have seen positive results from certain treatments, and we feel that this could set Felicity on the path to recovery and regaining the life she so truly deserves.

So today we are asking for help to fund these treatments. If there is anything that you can spare to help her on her path to recovery, we would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this, we’re incredibly appreciative of your support.
