I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my father, Feliciano — a proud immigrant, a small business owner, and truly one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever known. On the night of July 13, 2025 a devastating fire destroyed the semi-truck that Feliciano, my father, worked his entire life to earn. In an instant, the heart of his business — and his livelihood — went up in flames. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the emotional and financial damage is overwhelming. Feliciano didn’t just lose a truck. He lost the very thing that symbolized years of sacrifice, dedication, and pride — the foundation of the life he built from nothing. From Nothing to Something: Feliciano is an immigrant who came to this country with nothing — no money, no connections, no guarantees. Just a fierce work ethic, a dream, and the determination to create a better life for his family. He spent years doing grueling labor, often underpaid and overlooked, saving every dollar. He went without comforts, holidays, and rest — all to one day own his own truck and build something of his own. That dream became real when he founded C & O Trucking LLC, a one-man trucking company that he poured his soul into. This truck wasn’t just a vehicle — it was his pride. His business. His American Dream. The fire came suddenly and without warning. The damage is total, and unfortunately, the truck was not fully covered by insurance — like many small business owners, Feliciano had to make difficult decisions just to keep things running. Now, he faces the heartbreaking reality of having lost his only source of income, with no insurance compensation to rebuild. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the process is expected to be long and uncertain. In the meantime, Feliciano is unable to work, with bills, obligations, and responsibilities still mounting.
