On September 9, Felicia Pasadyn’s life changed in an instant when she was struck by a car while out for a run in Gainesville, Florida.

Those who know Felicia know that movement, medicine, and helping others have always been at the center of her life. Felicia is a physician, accomplished athlete, former Harvard swimmer, and professional runner who qualified for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. She has spent years pushing the limits of what is possible, balancing medical training with competing at an elite level and inspiring countless people along the way.

The accident left Felicia with seven fractures, including a significant pelvic fracture, along with fractures involving her clavicle, ribs, manubrium, and lower back. She also sustained internal injuries, serious wounds to her knee, and extensive road rash. She is incredibly fortunate to be alive, but the road ahead will be long.

Felicia is now facing a recovery that will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, wound care, and time away from the demanding life she had built as both a physician and athlete. Her mother has traveled to Florida to help her with everyday activities as she navigates these early stages of healing.

Felicia has dedicated so much of her life to caring for others and inspiring those around her. Now, we have an opportunity to be there for her.

Funds raised will help support Felicia throughout her recovery, including medical and rehabilitation expenses, transportation, daily living needs, and other costs that arise while she is unable to return fully to work, training, and everyday life.
