GIVING DAY

We personally, with many caring people, deliver all the goods on December 13, 2025, to poor Central California migrant farmworker families. They help feed us, let us help feed them and their children.

OUR GOAL AND OUR HOPE

To return our gratitude for the food they place on our table. Winter is a time they have little work, and the struggle is great as no work = no food and essentials are greatly needed. Our humble friends are often forgotten and we hope to ease some of their silent suffering. In the dollars they would have spent having to buy these items, we hope they can use it to pay their rent/bills and medical care and assist them so they are ready and able to work in early Spring for the planting and picking season. In 2024, +200 migrant farm workers families in great poverty were helped. This helps men, women and children.

WHAT WE DO

Two months before Christmas., we collect donations, sort the goods and clothing, then we partner with families in the Los Gatos/Bay area to organize and deliver the donations in an extra large U-Haul truck. Our main point of contact is Socorro Lagarda-Quiros of the Diocese of Monterey Migrant Ministries as she knows best which Central California farmworking communities are struggling the most. +100-200 families are invited. Those poor families are invited to the December giving day, we meet very kind men, women, and children and 20-40 families from here drive to central California to help distribute the goods according to their needs. THEY ARE IN NEED. They are always extremely grateful for your help. We always give it all away.
