I am raising funds to help Khanom Welfare (ขนอมสงเคราะห์สัตว์), an animal rescue in Khanom, Thailand. When I personally visited this shelter, I met hundreds of dogs and cats who had been abandoned, abused, or left to starve on the streets. This small rescue cares for approximately 600 animals, and many days they struggle just to provide enough food. These animals survive only because a few dedicated local women refuse to give up on them.

One dog that touched my heart was a golden retriever who had been abandoned by his foreign owner. He was found starving and heartbroken. When rescued, he refused to eat because of his depression. His story represents so many of the forgotten animals suffering in silence.

Your donation will go toward food (rice, chicken, dry dog & cat food), clean water and shelter supplies, vaccines, deworming and veterinary care, and sterilization programs to stop the suffering cycle. Since I am just passing through Khanom, I may not be able to provide regular updates or photos myself, but I will do my best to let the public know how much we’ve raised and, if possible, share any updates or photos the shelter provides. Every donation, no matter the size, helps save lives.
