Thank You for Helping Feed Rescued Mustangs!

(Amore is a Nevada wild horse who was rescued from a horse-slaughter broker in Oklahoma.)

The rescued wild horses need hay to eat! Please Help with a donation today!

They were all saved from bad situations where they were at risk of going to slaughter for human consumption as delicacy meat abroad.

(Blondie was at the Bureau of Land Management-BLM's holding corral in Litchfield near Susanville, California.)

Please help them with a hay donation! These wild mustangs were stampeded by helicopter, brutally torn from their families and homes on the range in Wyoming, Nevada, and California. They lost their herd and their freedom. . .

Now they live peacefully with their friends in sanctuary on a small 8-acre family farm known as Bryerly Farms in Walnut Creek, California where they eat a lot of hay every day and are willing to be Mustang Ambassadors. They are only 25 miles from San Francisco.

(Val, Blondie, and Tibet say hello!)

Buying hay by the bale is very expensive in California. We can’t find round bales and we don’t have the equipment to move them. 3-tie bales here are about 105 pounds and the rescued mustangs gobble them up. The Mustangs need to get good hay in bulk by at least the 80 bale block delivered and stacked ASAP.  This summer when hay prices drop we plan on buying a big load. For now, they need 80 bale blocks at a time. They also need some barrels of grain for their vitamins and other supplements plus wormer. We’ve noticed the mustangs thrive in captivity with good hay and some supplemental grain. Grain runs about $100 a barrel and those barrels go fast. Your donations will make it happen for the rescued wild mustangs. (Keep in mind that Go Fund Me takes 2.9% plus .30 cents per transaction according to their terms of service. ) Because we are volunteers, all the money raised goes to their food!

(Here is what a few 3-tie bales of hay looks like on a volunteer's truck.  We don't have a truck. A block of 80 bales is cheaper than a few at a time and requires special delivery for the big load. )

Only a couple of Mustangs have been able to join the grazing project to reduce wildfire fuel because we don't have enough moveable fencing/panels. We still feed them breakfast and dinner since grazing at the farm doesn't really provide enough nutrition either. It makes them happy and that counts for a lot.

We are volunteers. We donate many hours every day to help these amazing wild horses living in Walnut Creek. People from all over and many nations have visited them,  learned about wild horses and had amazing experiences with them.

I founded Mustang Meditation™️ where we sit and meditate with the Mustangs. The rescued wild horses all suffer from roundup trauma some have other special needs too. At Bryerly Farms, a certified wildlife habitat®️, they are honored, respected and never “used”. Because they aren't used and are allowed to be horses, they need donations for hay and grain.

Val, Sol, Blondie, Tibet, Amore, and others are very grateful for your help to get hay and grain to eat. They know it when people are helping them and they are so grateful. Please donate to make a real difference in their lives.

Thank you so much for helping feed the rescued mustangs!

For the Wild Ones,
Anne Novak
