I’m Garrett, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to help feed kids in Prentiss County schools. I grew up in Prentiss County and attended Thrasher Attendance Center, so this cause is deeply personal to me. I remember what it was like when families had to depend on reduced lunch, and I know how much school meals can mean to a child. With the new rules, it seems like many kids are now at risk of going hungry at school. We all know that for some children, the meal they receive at school may be the only meal they have that day.

I will personally handle the funds raised, and the money will be evenly divided and distributed to Prentiss County schools to help provide meals for students in need. My hope is that this fundraiser can ease some of the burden for families and make sure more children have food during the school day. Every donation is sincerely appreciated. If you’re able to give, please think about the smile on a child’s face when they get to enjoy their favorite school meal, or the relief of knowing they won’t have to go hungry.
