Nkhoma Mission Hospital in Malawi cares for about 120–150 patients each day, many of whom arrive without food or family support, especially during the current hunger season, when families have exhausted their harvests and food prices are very high.

We are raising funds to provide simple maize porridge, often the only nutrition patients receive while hospitalized.

Just 1 kg of maize flour provides about 5 meals, and even a small donation can make a real difference! Giving as little as $1 a day can help provide food for patients who would otherwise go hungry. About $5 can help feed one patient for a day, $25 can support meals for a hospital ward, and larger gifts help sustain nourishment across the hospital.

Our goal is to raise approximately $2,400, which can help provide basic meals for patients through the coming months, until the harvest season improves food availability around June.

Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports patients while they are trying to heal. No one should have to fight illness on an empty stomach.
