Feed The Orchestra

The last year has been a massive challenge for many, including myself.

It’s brought many moments of seeming isolation, but the main inspiration is this: it is impossible to do it alone.

I speak using the first-person to take responsibility for my words. Still, I’ve learned that it takes a higher power and other human beings in coordination to affect anything in the material world.

I remember the first time I played guitar with Mariam. It felt like we connected intimately through music. It’s that same feeling that has guided me in building our team over the last few years. Now, I have a fantastic group of people: a new group of band members and a solid crew of operational support behind them. Mariam and I have some big ideas about Malian dance and music available to everyone. We need this team to make it happen.

I'm asking for your support to continue to feed these awesome people while we grow together.

I plan to open up new sources of revenue so that we can make our vision a reality in the long term. 

I’ve been supporting all these people out of my pocket. The EIDL grants have helped, but this will run out shortly. 

Please help us continue to pay our team while we position ourselves for long-term financial sustainability.

These are bold intentions. However, I believe we live in a responsive cosmos. If anything, articulating this vision will start us towards its realization. To be clear, we aim to:

·     Uplift and educate through music.

·     Make high-vibrational music that impacts the world positively.

·     Support  Mariam so she can continue to teach, inspire and touch your soul.

·     Make music that sustains me, Mariam, and those around us.
