Help look after Jimmy & co during the Winter

Meet Jimmy. The cat that everyone loves but no one wants to take home
For over 5 years now, Jimmy has lived at Antonis Pool Bar in Kalamaki. He was always part of a small little team of cats there and they were all well known, regular tourists fed them and looked out for them during the summer season.
Jimmy, being white, was always sunburnt to a crisp, always getting in fights and covered in wounds. Neutering him 3 years ago we hoped would help but sadly he has always needed vet trips for his health and to clean up fresh wounds.
At the end of last summer, the 4 other cats that lived with Jimmy at Antonis for many years were adopted and taken to England; leaving Jimmy behind. This season, we arrived back at Antonis to sadly find he is extremely skinny, covered in dried blood and ears severely burnt. We worry he has lost his colony, and perhaps new cats have moved in or he has not been fed during the winter as there were less cats around.
He has been back to the vet and sadly has tested positive for FIV, as well as needing to have an ear amputated to save the pain and risks on his ears from the sun.
He is the kindest boy who loves a fuss, but sadly due to how he looks, not many people want to go near him. Our hope is to give Jimmy the happy ending he deserves, after battling street life for many years now. Underneath the dried blood and wounds is a handsome, cuddly boy with beautiful blue eyes.
We are looking for help and donations towards Jimmy’s ongoing care through the rest of the season and the Winter to at least keep him fed and warm. Our dream is to find someone who could offer him a home (where he would be the only cat), so if you can offer this, please let us know and we can give you more information.
