About the film
Hello, my name is Lyra Murphy and I am the Director of Sheepskin. This film is a queer love story with a diabolical twist. Our dedicated crew is made up of young Vancouver youth who are passionate about film making. As graduates of Templeton Secondary School film program, we are committed to making authentic, captivating, and award winning short films. Sheepskin explores themes of young queer love and the lengths that people will go to keep it once they find it.
Synopsis
Gabrielle’s first year of university has been friendless and unfamiliar until meeting (and quickly befriending) the cool and confident Morgan. Her feelings for Morgan grow into something more than friendship, but when Morgan starts to reciprocate, Gabrielle realizes she’s in for something far worse– and far more dangerous– than she expected.
