My name is Adriana Simpson, and I am a dedicated volunteer at the Miroslava Shelter in Iași, Romania. I am also part of a small but passionate group of volunteers known as Zâmbete cu Codițe. Since December, we have been working tirelessly to find responsible homes for stray animals and to save the countless puppies that arrive at the shelter daily.

The situation has become dire. The shelter is overpopulated with puppies because many people do not spay their animals and abandon them instead. As a result, we are struggling to provide these innocent souls with the vaccinations, food, vitamins, and medications they desperately need to stay alive. Puppies are at high risk of contracting deadly viruses, and without proper vaccination and medication, we tragically lose them.
