There comes a time in every aspiring filmmaker’s journey when they put their pride aside and ask everyone they know, and some people they don’t know, for a few bucks to help their budget cross the finish line.
Today is that day for me. I need your help!
What started as a fun scene to film for demo reel material, has grown into a twelve page comedic take on corporate deceit with the working title…
New Hire:
A job interview mix-up leaves a nervous supply chain whiz and a clueless bro-dude grappling with each other's identities in a battle of wits to impress the same boss—because in this office, it’s not just who you know, but who you think you are!
My Director/DP friend, Larry Wright and I have assembled a superbly talented four person cast (including myself), along with an amazing six person crew, and on July 8th and 9th we hope to join forces and create something memorable.
Most of everyone on set will be generously donating their time and those that are being paid, are working at steep discounts.
My hope with this $1500 is to feed each person two meals a day, as well as provide snacks and beverages throughout production. I also hope to have a little left to give everyone a little gas money. Anything leftover will be used for film festivals across the country.
Any and all donations will be given a special thanks in the credits. $250+ Donations will be given an executive producer credit on screen as well as IMDb credit.
