Donate To Help Feed America's Hungry Children

I'm raising money for Feeding America's Hungry Children this holiday season. I chose this project because I see this as an opportunity to help other kids who aren’t as lucky as I am to have a meal every night. I have always enjoyed giving to people less fortunate. Even as a kid, I would always ask my parents if they had any money on them so I could give it to homeless people. My goal is to raise $1,000.

Here is a little background about Feeding America's Hungry Children: Feeding America's Hungry Children build strong relationships with food brokers to acquire their excess produce that is nutritionally good but could not be marketed because it does not meet the requirements. Because it is expensive to take their excess produce to the landfill and then pay for dumping fees they rather have the charity pick it up from them.
