Hi, my name is Emily and I’m fundraising to help support a small, private horse rescue based just outside Warminster, Wiltshire called Phaase Horse Sanctuary.

This sanctuary is home to 8 horses who have all come from difficult backgrounds — many are elderly, have health conditions, or can no longer be ridden. Despite everything they’ve been through, they are now safe, loved, and finally getting the care they deserve.

But like many small rescues, everything is funded personally and through small donations — and right now, we are running extremely low on hay and feed.

To give you an idea, 60 small bales of hay costs over £400, and with 8 horses to care for, the costs add up very quickly.

Some of the horses you would be helping include:

Charlie – an abused gypsy horse who was once fearful and unsure, but is now learning to trust again and absolutely thrives on love and attention.

Tibbs – bred for racing but suffered a serious accident as a young horse involving farm machinery. After surgery, he was never able to race and was at risk of being slaughtered before being rescued.

Bob – a gentle 30-year-old cob who originally came from a special needs college. Sadly, a heart condition meant he could no longer be ridden, but he still has so much love to give and adores human company.

Every single donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards:

• Essential care for these horses
