Help FDOT to get a new transport van

Hi, I am one of the admin team for Forgotten Dogs of Turkey, a not-for-profit rescue working mainly in the Nigde area of far east Turkey and fully funded by donations

Our van in Turkey is our lifeline

Our bridge to these forgotten dogs is on its last legs, we have spent the last few years repairing it because we simply didn’t have spare funds to replace it.

Last night, after yet another long transport journey to help one of our dogs to it’s forever home the engine has started playing up again Sadly there comes a time when you realise that you just can’t keep paying out to repair something that is not going to last much longer anyway.

Without the van our mission grinds to a halt!

The van is not a luxury for us it's a necessity.

Our shelter in eastern turkey is many many miles from anywhere. The van allows us to collect food and materials, make vet visits, transport dogs who have been adopted to the transport company drop off which is an 18hr round trip, but most importantly it allows us to save more dogs from the streets
