For a small, family-driven soccer club, moments like this don’t come around very often.
Major Arena Soccer League Women is one of the top platforms for women’s arena soccer in North America, bringing together elite clubs from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This season, our club (FC Berlin) proudly became the first Canadian team to compete in the league.
Against all odds, our players delivered an incredible inaugural season, finishing near the top of the Great Lakes North Division with an 8-0-2 record and earning a place at the MASL-W Nationals in Detroit, Michigan, from March 20–22, 2026.
For our athletes, this is more than just a tournament; it’s the opportunity to compete on a continental stage and represent our community and Canadian indoor soccer at the highest level. But as with many small clubs, reaching this level comes with real financial challenges.
FC Berlin is a community-based organization built by volunteers, families, and passionate players, not a large professional franchise with major sponsorship backing.
Traveling to Detroit for Nationals means covering expenses such as:
• Transportation for players and staff
• Hotel accommodations for up to three days
• Meals during the tournament
• Tournament logistics and team expenses
To help offset these costs, we are hoping to raise funds through the support of our community, supporters, friends, and soccer fans. Every contribution — big or small — will help our players take the field and compete for a national title.
This group of athletes has already made history by putting FC Berlin and Canadian arena soccer on the map. With your help, they’ll have the chance to finish the journey.
If you believe in community sports, women’s soccer, and the power of grassroots organizations, please consider supporting our team.
Thank you for being part of the FC Berlin story!
