Help Faye Shine in Memphis Blues Drum Corps

Help Faye follow her Dreams.

This month, Faye and I will be driving 460 miles down to Memphis, TN for the Memphis Blues Audition Camp, where she will be put through drills and other skills practices to assess her abilities in Color Guard.

Once camp is over, we will receive our official contract to join the Memphis Blues Drum Corps.

That's where the fundraising starts. The membership fees for MBDC are $2000, and we will also have living expenses and travel expenses. Faye will be staying in Memphis from June 7 till July 12, and they will be traveling through Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Arkansas to perform.

The Drum Corps stay together for practices and training. They train early morning till late at night, and the kids absolutely love it.

I am trying to raise $4500. This will cover fees and living and travel expenses for the month that she will be in Memphis and on the bus touring.

Faye and our family desperately need your help in reaching the dream. It really is an amazing opportunity for Faye.

Faye has performed in several seasons of Color Guard and Marching Band through Franklin Central High School. This year, 2026, will be her senior year, and she will have a total of 9 seasons at graduation.

Faye's dad, Larry, and I are so proud of her. Her hard work and determination are commendable. We've watched her practice through bumps and bruises, a minor concussion or two, and she pushes through it all. She is determined to be her best and is always upbeat and happy. Her dream is to be a Color Guard teacher or director, and I totally believe she will reach that goal. I will do everything I can to help her.
