My name is Faye, and for the past year and a half, I have been battling chronic osteomyelitis in my sacral area and right hip. This condition has required four surgeries so far, all stemming from a severe MRSA infection that has been incredibly difficult to overcome. Because of my health, I have not been able to work, and my family has been doing everything they can to help me stay afloat by covering my rent. Unfortunately, their resources have run out, and I am now facing the very real possibility of eviction if I cannot pay my rent this month or in the coming months.

On top of the housing crisis, my medical bills have continued to pile up. I have already been sent to collections for some of my care, and I still need additional treatment to manage my condition and hopefully recover. The stress of not knowing how I will pay for my basic needs and ongoing medical care has been overwhelming.
