Parish Family Home Lost in Fire

Dear Friends,

Yesterday, major winds plus a fire hit their area and burned down many homes along with their beautiful home. It is devastating to get such news. Not only has it impacted Fawn and Joey but also their 3 roommates that all lived with them.

We all know that we are one day away from a potential disaster happening that can change the course of our lives. That day happened yesterday for our dear friends Fawn and Joey Parish. Over 30 years ago, they summoned their community of friends to come and help them build their house on a property that had belonged to Fawn’s father. After a community of helpful hands joined together, they built a beautiful home that overlooked Camarillo, California. Over the past 3 decades since I have known Fawn and Joey, they have hosted multitudes of people in their home and shared the love of God and love of community with their guests along with feeding them and housing them. I know many of you have been recipients of their kindness and hospitality over the years.

We, as a community of friends who deeply love them, are asking for all of you to consider donating. They will need to rebuild their lives including relocating as they figure out next steps. They escaped the fire with very little in their hands. Your donation will go towards housing them in this time of transition along with helping them purchase items for their basic needs. The future is not known to us but we know that God is carrying them through this difficult time.
