I am Kriste Simmons and during this conflict I have become close with some families in Palestine, Fatima Akram Sobhi Abu Kamil, her two children and her husband Anas Bassam Abu Kamil, in Khan Yunis need our help before it may become too late!! Her story is below.

My name is Fatima. I have two children: Bassam, 6 years old, and Tamer, 4 years old. We were living happily in northern Gaza, until this damned war came. As a result, we lost our home and were displaced to central Gaza, to Nuseirat. Months after our displacement, the place to which we were displaced was attacked and subjected to heavy bombardment. We escaped death again, and several times death passed us by amid fear and the slowness of children and civilian victims, until we reached Khan Yunis with difficulty.We only had two months until the occupation also attacked Khan Yunis. We will not be able to escape anywhere because there is no safe place left to go to. We surrendered to the status quo. Now we are trying to escape from death to any safe place outside.
