Help Fatima fly home for her mother's passing

If you are at school after 3:15, you probably know Fatima, one of our lovely, dedicated evening custodians who has worked at ACHS for many years.

A few weeks ago, Fatima's cherished mother passed away in Morocco, and Fatima was not able to fly home to be with her family. Time and financial constraints have kept her far from where her heart needs to be.

Summer vacation will give Fatima time to travel. Sgt. Holden and I are hoping that we all can chip in to help provide the finances.

As of today (March 13), a round trip ticket from DC to Casablanca costs around $1,600. Prices change depending on the day of purchase and taxes, so we think that $2,000 allows for a bit of a cushion.

If many of us donate $5-$10, the ticket will be paid in full!

If you are not able to contribute funds, please consider sharing condolences. You can find Fatima every day in the halls by the main office, cleaning up after the hundreds (thousands?) of us who pass on through.
