Help Randy, His Wife & 5 Children Rebuild After a Tragic Motorcycle Accident.

Hello, my name is Destiny. I'm facilitating this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother Randy Cortez, his wife & their five beautiful children.

In 2021 Randy gracefully followed in his younger brothers footsteps to gain an extensive passion and fondness with motorcycles as well as the wonderful bike community that surrounds that lifestyle. This led to a strengthened, admirable bond between the pair. Randy has always been a responsible, eager to improve rider with a drive for greatness.

On September 4, 2024 Randy was tragically involved in a severe motorcycle accident. Sadly he was just moments away from home when this occurred. A vehicle pulled out right in front of Randy despite not having the right of passage and likely confused amidst the construction taking place on the roadways in the area of the collision. This resulted in Randy colliding into the vehicle head-on without the opportunity to swerve before the unfortunate crash, leaving him hospitalized with life-threatening injuries ever since.

Since the accident, Randy has undergone 6 surgeries, with many more needed as he continues to recover. As a respected father of five and the eldest sibling in our family, Randy has always worked tirelessly to support his children and loved ones. Now, he faces a long and challenging recovery, with his wife stepping in as his full-time caregiver for the next year or more. The funds raised will go directly to Randy and his family to help cover daily expenses and the extensive therapy he will need to regain his independence. Our goal is to ease their burden during this difficult time and help make Randy's recovery as smooth as possible. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
