Help Fate get much needed surgery!

Do you ever meet a dog and just know they’re going to stick with you for the rest of your life? For me, that’s Fate. I first met Fate in May of 2023. She had two different stints at the Animal Care Centers of New York before she was pulled by the shelter I worked at. She was by far the sweetest dog I had ever met, tail always wagging despite her history. She spent 6 months with us in NYC, where I spent as much time as I possibly could making her life in the shelter as good as it possibly could be. Fate was later transferred to an out of state shelter in CT as she was nervous by the loud sights and sounds of the city, and was adopted shortly after by an amazing man named Steve. Steve has given her the most wonderful life ever, full of forest walks, snuggles and so, so many treats. He did for her what I always wish I could, and I am eternally grateful that he’s kept in touch with me so I can see how our sweet girl is doing. Fate, at 11 years old, now has growths on her head that have ruptured and she needs surgery to get them removed and biopsied. The least I could to for Steve is try to help him with the costs of care, as a thank you for giving our girl the best life possible. If you’ve made it this far, thank you and I hope learning about Fate made you smile :)
