Help Farouk and his family evacuate from Gaza

Farouk and his family need your help to evacuate from Gaza and enter into Egypt. Farouk hopes that his younger sisters can move to Egypt and continue their education along with their mother.

April 2025 update: 

I am Farouk Abu Rida, 19 years old, from Gaza, with my family. In this world, every person has the right to life, to hope, to safety. But in Gaza, we ask for nothing more; we only ask to stay alive. Our land is burning, our homes are collapsing, and our dreams are evaporating. My family and I have nothing left but the ruins of our past. No shelter, no food, no water. But despite all this, we still cling to life. Today, we ask only of you: give us a chance to survive. We are not asking for luxury, or to live like everyone else. We want to live with dignity, to find our daily bread, to drink water in peace, to fall asleep without fear. Your humanity is our last hope... Help us to live, to be here for a better tomorrow.

February 2025 update:

Farouk’s family’s tent was destroyed in the weather, and he and his family of 8 are now living in his grandfather’s house. Since so much of his grandfather’s neighborhood was destroyed in the conflict, there is no electricity in their home.

Farouk (الفاروق) is a 19-year old from Gaza. He is the oldest of 6 children. His younger siblings are Yara (17), Amir (14), Karim (12), Fadila (10), and Youssef (8). They are displaced with their parents in Khan Yunis city. They have just recently acquired a tent to survive the winter, but they still do not have enough blankets or winter clothes. There is not much food available in Gaza, and what is available is very expensive. Most days, Farouk and his family of 8 eat only eggs and cheese for the whole day.
