My name is Farida, and the last four years have been the hardest of my life. I’ve been in and out of hospitals, facing serious health problems that have changed everything for me. I lost my house, my car, my dentures, and even my vision in one eye. I’ve had surgeries, battled pneumonia twice, and struggled with heart problems. Each setback has made it harder to get back on my feet.

Right now, all I have left is my storage unit, and I’m at risk of losing that too. I rely on food stamps to get by, but it’s not enough to cover my basic needs or help me start over. I’m reaching out because I need a fresh start and a little hope. The funds from this fundraiser will help me keep my storage unit, cover essentials, and begin to rebuild after so much loss.
