I am Um Fares, from northern Gaza, and I live with my twins, Fares and Farah, who were born to me after five years of treatment and surgeries, including embryo implantation. Unfortunately, we were subjected to direct shelling. I was carrying my children while both my hands were burned, and I didn’t know if they were alive, as they were unconscious.

I witnessed painful moments, seeing my mother pass away right before my eyes, unable to save her. I, along with my children, suffered burns of varying degrees. After this incident, I could no longer bear the pain or provide care for them, especially since Farah's forehead and part of her head were burned, requiring a hair transplant. Fares, on the other hand, suffered a burn on his hand that resulted in tissue contraction and needs surgery to expand the space between his index and thumb.

I appeal to you to help me provide the necessary treatment for my children and to carry out the essential surgeries for them, ensuring a dignified life for them
