Update:
With a heavy heart, I regret to inform you that Farah has passed away from this life. She has suffered greatly in her last two years of age and deteriorated to her death.
For those who supported Farah and her family, your support is appreciated beyond words. While ultimately we failed to help her escape the war, we can still help her family.
Lets not fail to stand by her family in their greatest time of need and heartache. Let's endeavor to prevent them from any further worries about their one and only remaining son, Osama.
Do your best to support them and share their story with your people. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Original Fundraiser:
“I tied my daughter to a rope—just so she wouldn’t die.”
— Sabah, Farah’s mother
A Child Losing Everything—Twice
Farah is 9 years old. She was born smiling, curious, and full of life.
Today, she is fighting to stay alive—her childhood stolen by Sanfilippo Syndrome, and her safety shattered by war.
Farah’s disease is progressive, painful, and incurable. It slowly destroys her brain and body.
She can no longer speak, eat solid food, or understand danger.
Now, after surviving three emergency brain surgeries, she needs a fourth—but her body is too weak from malnutrition, infection, and trauma.
All of this while living in a tent in war-torn Gaza.
⚠️ What Is Sanfilippo Syndrome?
Sanfilippo is a rare, fatal genetic disorder—sometimes called “childhood Alzheimer’s,” but it’s far worse.
It causes children to lose everything—speech, memory, movement, hearing, and the ability to eat, swallow, or even breathe.
There is no cure.
Only care, dignity, and the chance to slow the suffering.
The Crisis Now
Farah is severely malnourished and can no longer eat.
She needs urgent skull reconstruction surgery to survive.
Her family has no income, no shelter, and no access to proper care.
They are displaced, living in a tent after fleeing northern Gaza.
Every day without medical support and nutrition pushes Farah closer to collapse.
How Your Support Will Help
We’ve broken this fundraiser into two goals:
PHASE 1: $100,000 – Keep Farah Alive in Gaza
Medical nutrition and hydration
Urgent brain surgery (when her health stabilizes)
In-home nursing care
Physical and speech therapy
Hygiene essentials: diapers, clean water, bathing supplies
️ Safe housing for Farah and her family
❤️ Psychological support for stability and calm
PHASE 2: $40,000 – Emergency Travel Fund (If Borders Open)
✈️ Evacuation & transport to a treatment facility abroad
Specialized care unavailable in Gaza
️ Accommodation and basic expenses during treatment
Medical documents & coordination costs
This portion will only be used if a treatment opportunity arises outside Gaza. If borders remain closed, all funds will remain dedicated to care inside Gaza.
From Her Family
We are a displaced family with no income, no home, and no way to meet our daughter’s needs without help.
We don’t want luxury—just the ability to keep her alive with dignity.
Farah isn’t just sick.
She’s trapped—in her own body, and in a place that no longer protects children.
Please, don’t look away.
If you can’t donate, please share this story.
Your voice could be the reason she survives the week.
