My name is Farah, and I am from Gaza. I have survived 4 harsh wars, enduring the bitter reality of continuous displacement. My family and I have faced the horrors of famine and starvation. In these wars, I lost my beloved 17-year-old brother, many of my relatives, and my home was turned to ashes.
The suffering didn’t stop there. My father, our sole breadwinner, was severely injured in a bombardment, leaving his hand completely paralyzed. This is on top of his critical daily battle with heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Today, we are left with absolutely no source of income, facing a brutal reality that threatens our survival every single day.
Despite everything, I have always tried to hold onto education. I worked hard on myself and managed to speak three languages: Arabic, English, and French. My dream has always been to go to university and study Dentistry or Psychology. However, our harsh living conditions and the continuous wars completely put my life on hold and kept me from pursuing my academic dreams.
How Your Donations Will Help:
Your support, no matter how small, is our final lifeline. Donations will be used to secure vital medical care for my sick father, provide urgent food and basic needs for my family, and help cover my future university tuition. Please donate and share this link. Thank you.
