My name is Farah Al-Helou, Architecture student, a survivor, dreamer, live in Gaza. I've endured unimaginable hardships, including four major aggressions and countless military escalations. Each day brings new challenges, and the uncertainty of survival looms ever closer.
I never imagined myself caught in the crossfire of politics and conflict. My aspirations were simple yet profound - a peaceful life, and finish my education in architecture school . However, those dreams seem more distant than ever before.
In 2017, I was granted the opportunity of a lifetime through the ACCESS Microscholarship program, followed by the Global UGRAD program in 2023, both funded by the US Department of State. These experiences opened my eyes to the possibilities beyond the confines of Gaza.
But reality came crashing down in October 2023 when I lost my home, leaving me homeless upon my return from Lawrence, Missouri. The dream of completing a bachelor's degree in architecture in my homeland became almost impossible amidst the terrifying conditions we endure daily.
Now, in the midst of yet another escalation, I fear for my life. The threat of becoming another casualty of war is all too real. My only wish is to escape to safety and continue my university studies.
I long to fulfill my dream of completing my degree in the United States, to further my education , But without help, this dream may remain just that - a dream.
I am seeking to raise €10,000 to cover the costs of evacuation to safety and to support my university studies. Your support could mean the difference between life and death, between dreams realized and dreams shattered.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can ensure that the voices of those trapped in conflict zones are heard, and their dreams are not forgotten.
Please, help me evacuate to safety and continue my university studies. Your kindness and generosity can change the course of my life and the lives of countless others in Gaza.

Thank you for your compassion and support.
