Help Farah Rebuild After Eaton Fire Loss

Donation protected
Farah Bernier lost everything she owned in LA’s Eaton Fire. Even still, her faith and positivity are unshakable. See below for her story in her words. She is an incredible woman who has dedicated her life to helping others. (If you didn’t know, she’s a life/career coach and works in HR!)

Now, it’s time for us to help her. Please consider donating anything you can as Farah has to rebuild completely - from toiletries, to clothing, to all of the expenses in between - no donation is too small.

Farah’s story: January 11, 2016.....Nine years ago I made my way from the East Coast to the West Coast for what I thought would be a one year #Cali #Tech Experience....and then of course I'd head back to Boston and see what was next from there. Little did I know I would be up for an incredible journey of learning, new friends, new mentors, new experiences, a whole lot of new and a whole lot of good, even in the way of challenges!

And here I am in another chapter of this "One Year Cali Experience"....SoCal-based and in a whole new industry and a even more caring, loving, uplifting people in my life that I ever imaged being blessed with.

And....the city I'm now a resident of is literally on fire....continuing to burn with so much destruction all around....

Yes, yes I was living in Pasadena, CA.

Yes, yes I had to evacuate and only had time to grab enough for a few days and my passport, birth certificate, and SSN Card. Thank you, Corey!!!

Yes, I’m ok…I promise: I have a place to lay my head, I’m safe, I’m sound, I’m healthy.

Yes, I lost all of my things….ALL OF THEM. And I’m heartbroken about losing the one thing I had from my grandmother and my prayer journal where I’ve captured everything He's told me over the past 10 years…..10 years !

And yes, I’m still trying to figure out where I’m going next....

But the most important yes of all…..I am blessed beyond measure and covered in ways I didn’t even realize. So much in the way of love, care and reminders, "you're not alone", "you have a place to stay", "you can stay here as long as you want", "I hope you come and stay here". I've even received surprises to my hotel of things I didn't even realize I absolutely need. I could go on.....

I do have needs and am soooooooooooo grateful for the daily\regular checkins to make sure I’m “really” good and to fulfill the requests to “let me lay eyes on you real quick".

I am still just stunned, dumbfounded but…I’m ok...more than ok. I now know the reality and depth of having that peace beyond all understanding...I can't even explain but woah!

Thank you to all who are checking in on me, making sure I’m ok. I owe so many calls and text back and I promise I'll respond. I’m so grateful….and so trusting of Him, His hand, will and blessing over my life.IYKYK #BlessingsUponBlessings”
