Help Omar and his family from Gaza to build a future .

My name is Oamr Abdel Qader, from Palestine, living in Gaza.

I never imagined that my life would turn into this terrifying nightmare. Everything was beautiful, my family, my ambitions, and my dreams that I built step by step. I lived to achieve my goals and develop myself, whether at university or the sports club that I considered my second home. But the war... the war destroyed everything.

Today, I can't even think about my future. My body that was strong has become thin and weak. I no longer have the energy that I knew myself with, and I no longer have the motivation to continue. My university dreams and the club that I loved have become just a distant memory.

This crazy war has robbed us of our most basic rights. Our lives have become centered around one question only: How do we survive? Not just for me, but for every member of my family. We no longer think about anything but safety. We are looking for a way out of this hell that swallows everything beautiful.

The last months have been a living nightmare. Death, hunger, cold, and fear have become our daily partners. We have lost our homes, our memories, and even our hope. We never thought we would reach this level of cruelty. We love our country... we love our life, but the war has taken away from us even the forms of life we know.

We were a family of six, living together under one roof full of love. Each one of us worked hard to achieve his goals and help the other. We were eagerly waiting for my brother to graduate so we could celebrate his dream that came true. But the dream... the dream evaporated with the first missile that fell on Gaza.

On October 7, everything changed. We left our home, which was once our only refuge. We fled with only what we were wearing and the simple things we could carry, and sought refuge in "Deir al-Balah" in southern Gaza.

My mother, that wonderful woman, despite her chronic illness and suffering from kidney disease, did not abandon us. She cooked for us with whatever food was available, gathered us in the darkest of circumstances, and planted seeds of hope in us despite the drought that surrounded us. And my father, who was a symbol of strength and hard work, lost everything. His pioneering company that served the community, his business that he built with years of hard work, all of that was destroyed by the war. Now, he looks at us with a silent sadness, and we are helpless to do anything to bring him back to what he was.

Every day we live with one hope... that this war will end. That we will get out of this hell safe and sound. But we are stuck here. We have neither the money nor the means to leave.

It was not easy to ask for help, but circumstances forced me to do so. From the bottom of my heart, I appeal to you to extend a helping hand to us at this critical moment. Your help could be a lifeline for my family. It could be the reason for our salvation from this life that does not resemble life.

Please share our story with those you know, your friends, your family, and anyone who can offer support. Even if you cannot help yourself, your words can reach those who can.

I will never forget your white hands and kindness in these difficult moments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything.
