Nimah and Farah al-Najjar are young women, 19 and 17 respectively, living in Gaza. They and their family have been displaced to the south after their home was destroyed. Nimah is a single mother of two. They have a brother who is sick and needs treatment. The price of food is constantly rising due to the siege, and they are struggling to afford it because of the ever-decreasing job opportunities. Currently they are living in tents without protection from the elements, and with the threat of bombing overhead.
Without means of escape, they have turned to gofundme to help them pay for essentials for survival such as clean drinking water, food, clothes, medical treatment, etc. Flour costs over $300 for a bag, but even with these high prices, any amount of assistance will go a long way in helping. There is no minimum amount—even five dollars will be helpful, potentially vital. If you cannot donate, you can share the link to whomever you think could help. Thank you.
This campaign was created by Malcolm Oehler from Los Angeles. This is for the benefit only of Nimah, Farah and her family, and funds will be disbursed to them and only them.
