Help Farah and Family Survive Gaza War!- Year 2

Donation protected
Hi my name is Susan, I have created this fundraiser to help my husbands cousin Farah. Farah and her family were displaced from their home on October 13, 2023. to the south of Gaza, specifically in the Khan Yunis area. They were displaced in a place affiliated with UNRWA for a period of 3 months. They slept in a large number of people, 12 people, in a place 3 meters by 3 meters on a mat on the ground. There were no mattresses or headrests (pillows). They suffered from a lack of drinking water and pollution in the place, and overcrowding and crowding to use the bathroom. They waited an hour until they could use the bathroom. They have been living in a tent since October 13, 2023.

The conditions had only gotten worse, the winters were unbearable and caused them to become sick. They suffered from lack of food, little to no shelter, and no safety. Farah and her family lost their business and their main source of income which was providing for 20 family members in which included children. Farah is a human being just like me and you, She studied engineering and graduated in hopes of helping to build shelter for those in need. Farah had a normal life filled with love, hope, ambition, laughter and safety. Since the start of the war she has been suffering and trying her best to gather funds to help her family in this difficult time.

Since the temporary ceasefire just took effect and thankfully the violence have stopped for now. Farah and her family are very thankful for each and every one of you. You cant imagine what your support means for her. Living in a tent for over 15 months has felt like 15 years of suffering. Recently her father has underwent emergency gallbladder removal surgery while living in a tent. Can you imagine that? But thankfully I received and update from Farah once she got connection that her father in healing well despite the conditions he had surgery in. I want you all to pray for her fathers recovery and to please keep praying that this ceasefire lasts forever.

I want to add that every dollar that is donated there are multiples transfer fees that is being deducted until it gets to final destination which is to Farah, the percentage can range from 30% to 40%. I am hopeful that you will all come together to help Farah and her family to reach safety and restart her life in a much better place with no more sufferings. Her journey is far from over with this campaign due to the extremely high prices for food. To be able to purchase a piece of tomato now in Gaza is considered living the lavish life that's if she is a able to find the tomato to purchase. A small piece of tomato ranges from 2 to 4 dollars. There is still no electricity and no water, food is scarce, clothing in the freezing winter is not available.

You are her lifeline, so please help keep her and her family safe. Your donation can provide them with essential support and basic needs. We sincerely hope you will extend your generosity to help Farah and her family. Thank you.
