Help family with traumatic accident.

Hi, my name is Cori Soucie, and I am fundraising for the family of my good friend and business partner, Brittney Murphy and her sister Tayler Walker.

On November 2nd, their mother, Cindy, sustained life-threatening injuries from a freak accident in the kitchen. We are unsure if she passed out or suffered a stroke while stirring a stockpot full of stew. When she collapsed, the stockpot of boiling stew poured out onto her body. After being rushed to Bozeman Deaconess, it was determined that the injuries she sustained required her to be life flighted to the SLC intensive care burn unit, where she is being treated for 3rd degree burns to approximately 20% of her body.

She is currently undergoing intensive and painful wound care as she awaits the surgeon's plan for the recommended multiple surgeries ahead. She will need family members with her while she goes through this long and arduous recovery.

This fundraiser will help Brittney and Tayler with expenses related to lodging and travel back and forth to SLC, travel costs for additional family members, and the extra financial burden associated with this time away from work and home that they are both incurring. It will also ensure the continued care of Cindy and her elderly parents, whom Cindy helps care for along with their primary caretaker Tayler. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Nothing is too small.
