Help Family with the struggles of Covid-19

Donation protected
In January of 2022, my little family came down with covid-19. My 10-year-old son Alex, unfortunately, got the brunt of the situation. After covid, he started having these symptoms of weakness in his arms and heaviness in his legs. It then got to where he couldn't lift himself from a lying position or walk with his feet flat on the ground because his knees hurt so bad he couldn't. He has pains that jump from one nerve to another that has caused him even more pain, which he is in all the time. He has a terrible shake that he constantly does (the doctors diagnosed it as tremors), So he can't walk alone because of these conditions. After taking him to the doctor's office repeatedly, they would tell me something different each time I went. I finally took him to Vanderbilts children's hospital emergency department. Only to find that they couldn't figure it out either. Don't get me wrong, they were incredibly friendly and tried their best to do so, but with covid-19, no one knows what effect it can have on each person because it affects us all differently. After all this, they admitted my little boy into the hospital for several days. They did so many tests on him but still came up empty-handed. After taking him to several more doctor's appointments, including infectious disease and the neurologist, they told me my son has Long Haul Covid, migraines and tremors, which he had never had before covid-19.
My little boy tried to walk before he could crawl; he almost did when he started walking at nine months old. Now he can barely walk and can only do so with someone's help. Sadly, my sweet boy has to be under supervision because he will fall over or slip down and can't pick himself up. He cants go to the restroom on his own or anything. I watched my independent little boy go from running and playing to barely moving. I have been on FMLA without being paid since the beginning of April. It is Just myself, my son, and my daughter at home. Times have gotten hard. I have exhausted every dime I had to finish up the terrible divorce I was going through with their dad and take Alex to what I feel like is every doctor in Nashville. I need a little help while we are going through this. Alex still has many doctor appointments to go to. He has physical therapy daily; our rent is due, the lights, the water etc. I'm in the most extensive hardship I've ever been in at this point. I've never been through anything like this. My heart breaks in two each time my son looks at me and says he is in pain, knowing that I would give anything in this world to take it anyway from him and praying to God for an answer so that I can. I work at one of the biggest hospitals around Nashville, but sadly it doesn't do me any good because I'm needed at home to take care of my son. I feel like the biggest failure on the planet right now. If you can find it in your heart to help us, even the smallest amount, we would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Along with this, I plan to pay things forward by helping children that have long-haul covid. Not just mine. Thank you for your time. Please support my little family. I am terrified at this point.
