Ingrid back in hospital: Help needed

Donation protected
9/19 UPDATE Ingrid had to be flown back to the hospital last night, 9/18. They are trying to determine why her BP is very high, kidneys not functioning properly, along with a multitude of other health issues.

My name is Tammy and unfortunately, very dear friends of mine are experiencing the unimaginable with the sudden serious illness of their daughter, Ingrid. Ingrid just graduated high school and is a beautiful, kind, and polite 18 year old young lady. Dad served in the US Military and currently is a deputy on the local force, while mom is very involved with both daughters and gives unselfishly to neighbors who are in need of medical care and attention. Now they find themselves in need of help and care.

Ingrid came down with what was assumed to be a virus a week ago. After a few days of not responding to home care, they took her to the local ER where they eventually transported her to Pensacola Ascension Hospital. She was immediately placed in the ICU, where she was intubated and placed in a medically induced coma. After 3 days of the medically induced coma, they are finally getting some answers as to why her kidneys are failing and pneumonia has complicated matters. She is on heavy duty dialysis along with a multitude of other things, while still being kept in a medical coma and intubated. They will medi-vac her via plane to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville sometime today (Sat. 7/26) in order to receive the specialized care Ingrid needs. She has been diagnosed with ANCA with lung problems and kidney failure that was set off by a virus. The doctors have stated that she will need to remain sedated for at least a week and will see specialists to get Ingrid stabilized so she can get STRONG and RECOVER! When Ingrid recovers, MAYO will send her back to Pensacola to continue her journey. So, as you can tell, the family's needs will be great, as insurance will not make a dent in what this will cost financially (and quite honestly, their insurance does not cover much). The family will incur medical costs, loss of wages, as well as travel expenditures. Any help at all will be so very appreciated by the family and all of us that loves this very special family. I hope you can find it in your heart to donate, no matter the amount. Every little bit will help.

The family is hopeful and so very appreciative of prayers and support.
