Help family who lost everything in Boulder fire

Hi my name is Jennifer and this fundraiser is for myself and my family. On December 30, 2021 the five of us (Jennifer, Jay, Irma, Javier, and Javier Jr.) lost everything in the Marshall fire in Louisville, Colorado.
We lived on the Fillmore Court neighborhood which was part of the affected communities. Wind gusts of up to 115mph combined with downed power lines fueled out of control grass fires which claimed hundreds, possibly thousands of homes in the Louisville/Superior area.  My mother was at the house as evacuation's started and she had to leave immediately leaving everything behind except for our family dog Jack. This all happened very very fast with no time to spare.  As she panicked to get into her SUV she saw nothing but smoke around her trying to escape and find safety through the chaos. She was crying because she could not take our family heirlooms which will never be replaced. The house rented, along with all of our possessions aside from what we were wearing, burned in fire.  We lost everything as most of us were busy at work while our livelihoods burned up in minutes. I’m a single mom trying to rebuild what we lost. My parents are not native speakers and most of the responsibilities are left to me. We are currently staying with relatives in Erie as we try to rebuild and reestablish ourselves while we decide what's best to do next.  I am just glad we are all okay and are able to stay together. I am glad my family and my son are safe and have somewhere to sleep tonight. Nothing will ever be the same.
