Our son, Hunter, was diagnosed with Pfeiffer syndrome type 2. It’s a rare disease characterized by the cloverleaf shape of the skull. This has affected his breathing, his eyes, his feeding, his brain, his ears, and maybe other things. He has been in the NICU since birth, and we don’t know how long he will have to stay there.
