Hello everyone, my name is Gabriela, and this is my family: my daughter, my son-in-law, and my adorable granddaughter. We are very close and have always lived within 30 minutes or less from one another in the Bay Area (CA) up until 4 years ago when they moved to Hendersonville, TN, in search of a new home. They don't have any other family out there, and although they've made many friends, they've really been on their own without any close support. After moving to TN, they started a small tea business that they ran from their home, advertising their products at local farmers' markets and in local stores. Over time their business has slowly grown into a local success, so they stocked up on a large amount of inventory which they stored in their home.

On Tuesday, 8/2/2022, tragically, a fire in the apartment next door to theirs ended up displacing the tenants in 10 different apartments, including my family. My daughter was outside the building when she saw the fire and luckily was able to run inside and rescue their two cats. Even luckier was the fact that my granddaughter and son-in-law were not home at the time of the fire. The fire has severely damaged not only their apartment, but all of their personal belongings inside, as well as all of their inventory for their business. After the fire was put out, they discovered nothing inside was salvageable.

I'm reaching out to anyone who comes across this page to please help my family. This money will go directly towards them finding a new home and starting over which would include purchasing clothes, furniture, and any other basic essentials you could think of. This fire took away just about everything, so they really need support from anyone that can offer it.
