This is Isabella, writing to share our current hardship and ask for support for our family. I am currently seven months pregnant and the full-time caregiver to our three-year-old daughter. Keith, my partner and the sole provider for our family, has been diagnosed with an aggressive small bowel lymphoma cancer, and he’s in need of a break from work to be able to heal. He does intense physical labor to support our family while dealing with the physical injuries from his previous work, now accompanied by gut pain that has felt life-threatening at times.

Community is invaluable, especially during these early stages of motherhood, but both of our parents and families live far away. We would truly appreciate any of your support in this time of dis-ease and soon postpartum, where our family is lacking physical help, deep rest, nourishment, and the time for healing.
