I’m reaching out to see if anyone is able to help out my family. My step father, Randy, was diagnosed with glioblastoma (aggressive brain cancer). At the end of October, he had emergency brain surgery and they were able to remove 70% of the tumor. We don’t know the treatment plan or prognosis yet, because he has not had an oncology appointment yet. He is a long haul truck driver and now is unable to work. He is applying for ssdi, but we found out that income won’t come in for 5 months. He was the primary income provider. If you are able to help out in anyway, it is very much appreciated. I am asking for financial help for living expenses, upcoming medical expenses, treatments or care that he may need. Any amount is helpful. Finding out you have this horrible disease, your life changing in an instant, trying to find the best treatment, hoping to survive it for a few more healthy years and worrying about your financial stability is a lot to take in at one time for him and my mom.
