Support a Family and their Loss of Two Beloved Ponies
Donación protegida
On April 13, 2024 the Hobbs family who live in Bunyan's Cove, Newfoundland, suffered a tragic loss when their pregnant Newfoundland Pony mare, Trinity, went into premature labour at 10 months. When the foal was born, it had already passed. The mare soon started to show unusual signs and took a turn for the worst; the trauma she had endured while trying to deliver also impacted her health. She had a prolapsed uterus which may have caused her early labor, resulting in losing her baby and having to be euthanized herself.
This is a devastating loss for Chris and Danielle Hobbs and their four kids who are dedicated to promoting and breeding the Newfoundland Pony. They are the first people who volunteer to help out at events, to trailer ponies, and to fundraise for the Newfoundland pony cause.
We want to show them how much we appreciate and support what they doing. We want to pay their veterinary bills for Trinity, their mare who died, and pay for the fencing project that they have underway for their 2 studs.
Let's come together to honor Trinity's memory and ensure that the Hobbs family can continue their invaluable efforts in preserving the legacy of the Newfoundland Pony. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference.
We remember a beautiful pony, Deerfields Trinity Bay (Registration #870), gone too soon.
