*Please note that the fundraiser is in Norwegian kroner (Nok), where 1 dollar is equivalent to around 11 NOK.*
To compassionate people everywhere,
My name is Jon and I'm from the west-coast of Norway.
I have set up this fundraiser together with my daughter Elise to help my friend Uday and his family in war-torn Gaza.

The family has endured the horrors of war and repeated displacements for many months and is asking for any help to make it through the daily struggle for survival. They are physically and mentally exhausted, lack basic necessities and desperately need our help.
The family is currently in Khan Yunis, in a tent camp near the ocean, and the situation is getting more dire every day. They are sharing the tent with several other relatives, like their widowed aunt and their uncle's children.
The family consists of 6 members:
Father: Muhammad Ibrahim Hussein Abu Shab (49 years old)
Mother: Adla Malahi Mahmoud Abu Shab (53 years old)
Louie Muhammad Ibrahim Abu (25 years old)
Uday Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Shab (23 years old)
Maher Muhammad Ibrahim Abu (17 years old)
Yasmine Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Shab (21 years old)
All funds will go towards covering the family's daily needs, food, water, basic necessities, and to give them some hope for a better future. The funds will be transferred by any means available (bank transfer, paypal ).
If the campaign reaches its goal, Uday plans to distribute some of the money among displaced Palestinians in the area, to help them in their time of need.
Here is some more information provided by Uday himself:
"My name is Uday Muhammad Abu Shab from Khan Yunis.
I was living in the city of Bani Suhaila, south of Gaza, in my father’s house. I was working at a car wash, and I took 20 Israeli shekels for my work every day, and I was spending on the house because my father did not have any job.
I was living my life with difficulty. I used to take food and assistance coupons from this and that, and there were people who worked on a volunteer system for the needy. I also took food from them.
I was displaced from my area 4 times and today the area where I am was evacuated.
Now I and my family are at the sea with our relatives, without clothes, food, money or anything. Everyone had to leave without carrying anything.
I am sitting with 4 families on the seashore inside a tent measuring 7 meters long and 4 meters wide.
Yesterday, my father sold my sister's phone in order to bring us a blanket and dinner, and he sold it for a small amount."
Please share / donate to help Uday and his family in this darkest and most difficult time.
