Help Family Recover from Worst Flood in South Brazil

My name is Rodrigo Bender. I was born and raised in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

In the past few weeks, my state has been devastated by the most catastrophic environmental event in its history. You can read about it here (THIS LINK).

Heavy rains have caused entire cities to be under water. Many families have lost everything. One of these families is my cousin’s family.

My cousin Luis Henrique, his wife Beloni, and their daughter, Camilla lost all their belongings and may now lose even the home they just purchased in 2023.

They have been living at his stepdaughter's house in Sapucaia do Sul until the waters subside. As of May 18th, their house still has water up to the roof (see image below).

In a message Luis Henrique sent me, he said that he had faith they will overcome this. I’m praying for their recovery.
