Support Kat, a Warrior Mom's Recovery from Birth Trauma

On August 9th, 2024, my beautiful daughter, Katherine Brooks, was admitted to the hospital to give birth to her twin boys. The babies are doing great, but unfortunately, a series of medical intervention ( a failed epidural that resulted in her having difficulty breathing) resulted in a traumatic emergency c-section under general anesthesia. The mental and physical trauma of the the delivery and its aftermath have made it that the original postpartum plan is no longer viable. She needs to be taken of, and so her husband who had planned to return to work after the birth has not been able to provide for the family for over a week now. He is home taking care of his wife and children.

All the money donated will go towards paying for essentials such as food, rent, car payments, utilities, dog food, cat food to allow the family to heal without the financial stress that comes with supporting a family of 8.

Multiple doctors and nurses confirmed gross mistakes were made and actions are being taken by the hospital in regards to the anesthesiologist who performed the failed epidural.
