Early Friday morning, my pregnant cousin, her husband, and their three children experienced a devastating fire that destroyed their home and all of their belongings. In a matter of hours, they were left with almost nothing, facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over while caring for their young family. The loss has been especially hard on her children, including her 2-year-old son, who now needs basic necessities and comfort during this difficult time.
