Help Family Rebuild Home after Cowboy Builder

Hello, I'm trying to raise funds for a Teesside family that have been left devastated, and financially crippled by a cowboy builder.
Mr & Mrs Briggs & their parents, Ann & Brian Stothard had planned to build an extension on their home so the family could co-habit, with a longer term plan to home Mrs Briggs brother Andrew Stothard who has disabilities.
Unfortunately their build was carried out by a cowboy builder and a large part of there home is left inhabitable, after he conned the family out of money and never completed any of the works, the family have been quoted up to £60k to rectify and complete the works, we hope to raise enough funds to pay for essential under pinning and structural works that will make the building safe and water tight.      
I'm asking for help due to the state that the property has been left, they do not see the day when Ann & Brian who are in their 70's will have a home of their own, Ann & Brian have used all of their saving/pension fund over the past 3 years on numerous rentals due to building works never being completed.
I know that in the present climate, times are very difficult for many families financially, but I'm hoping our local community can come together to support this much in need family
